July 17th, 2010 No comments

Photo Red Bull Air RaceIt is one of the highlights of the motorsports year 2010: After a four year break the Red Bull Air Race comes back to Germany – from 7th to 8th August the pilots of the fastest kind of motorsports will fly on the EuroSpeedway Lausitz for the first time. So the race track can be called in a row with famous venues like New York, Abu Dhabi or Perth.

The Red Bull Air Race at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz is really an event of superlatives: It is the first Air Race which is held on a permanent race course. Furthermore it is the only one of the whole series which takes place ashore. Therefore the race airport and the race course are placed on one area and the fans have the unique possibility to experience the pilots and the teams very close the whole time.

Take part in this special event and see live how the pilots navigate their airplanes through the closely plugged course with a top speed up to 400 km/h.

Tickets: The Two-Days-Ticket (qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday) costs between 25 and 45 Euro according to the official Red Bull Air Race ticket price overview. Children between six and 15 years get a discount. Until the age of five there is free entrance.

For more information about purchasing tickets, booking of rooms, local attractions or the race weekend itself, please contact the organizers by email postmaster(at)eurospeedway.de or by phone (0049 1805 – 30 77 03) or have a look their website www.eurospeedway.de.

Royal Ultra Sky MarathonHigher, harder, wilder: the Ultra Sky Marathon of Gran Paradiso.

Higher, since, among the others, there are 3 passes around 3000 m above the sea level.
Harder, since there are many technical sections including steeply coluoir and snow-fields.
Wilder, since this race goes through one of the few really uncontaminated areas of the Alps.

This is the race for sky runners of Gran Paradiso. The track follows the network of “Strade Reali di Caccia” (a series of mule tracks for hunting which have been realized by the Savoia royal dinisty) in the south side of the Gran Paradiso group.

Big thrills and amazing landscapes are waiting for the runners which will test themselves by engaging in this 50 Km long competiotion with more than 4000m of elevation gain.
